The truth about love,
It’s a fallacy, it’s a bluff.
It makes us happy,
But sadness has been its good company.
Thrilled and overjoyed,
But when hurt, could cry some rivers.
It is clothed with so many promises,
It hides and pretends.
It’s the mascara you wear.
You know it’s so easy to confuse adrenaline with love.
Some are feelings, most of the time – it’s just but a damn protein.
